Etch-a-Sketch Card

Hello, Friends!

I'm working on birthday cards.  I have a slew of birthdays coming up next month.

A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4.25"
This card was made using rounded corners.  The images are from the Silhouette store, I made them all in black outlines - since that's how an etch-a-sketch works.  The buttons are multiple white circles mounted on top of foam tape.

Recipe for this card:
  • No sketch this time.
  • Red and white card stock
  • Balloon images from Silhouette Store:  Design #47583
  • Confetti ribbon images from Silhouette Store:  Design #17667
  • Sentiment font = always in my heart

Birthday Bees

Hello! I'm hoping to stockpile some birthday cards in order to meet the big demand in my family come this fall.

I used Sketch #258 from Operation Write Home for my card.
http://operationwritehome.org/sketch-258/

Here's my card:

A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4.25"

I used a bee digital paper found on Etsy.  The star image is from the Silhouette store (design ID #45000).  The "Happy Birthday" sentiment was computer generated using font Pharmacy.  I made the banner by creating a rectangle within Silhouette software; adding an extra point on the left end and pulling it in.  The bee was included within the digital paper product purchased on Etsy.

The banner and bee are mounted with foam tape.

Wow! It's Your Birthday

Hello! I'm hoping to stockpile some birthday cards in order to meet the big demand in my family come this fall.

Here's a CAS (clean and simple) design I found over at CASE This Sketch : http://casethissketch.blogspot.com/2016/05/case-this-sketch-173.html

CAS Sketch #173
Here's my card:

A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4.25"

I used a super hero digital paper found on Etsy.  The star image is from the Silhouette store (design ID #45000).  The "Wow!" sentiment was computer generated using font DK Jambo.  I made the banner by creating a rectangle within Silhouette software; adding an extra point on the left end and pulling it in.  The sentiment "it's your birthday!" was also computer generated and sized to fit the banner.
