Cricut Life's a Beach

Card Recipe:

• Mat 1 (light green) = 5 3/8" x 4 1/8".
• Mat 2 (wave pattern) = 5.25" x 4".  Paper from the Paper Studio "A Day at the Beach."
• Scuba Diver = cut image at 2.75" from Cricut Life's a Beach cartridge; found on page 51 of the folder.  Mask on face created using Mod Podge Dimensional Magic.  Layer on scuba diver cut three times to get different colored elements for fins, swim trunks and hair. (light green, blue and brown).
• Fish Group = cut at 2" from Cricut Life's a Beach cartridge: found on page 53 of the folder.  Colored paper added to back to create eye colors.  Red fish is mounted with foam tape.  Fish image cut three times to get the different colored fish (in red, blue and green).
• Bubbles = drops from Mod Podge Dimensional Magic.
• Sentiment "Fishing you a great day" = from Scrappy Mom's "Amusing Animals" stamp set.

• Mat 2 (brown border at bottom) = 5.5" x 1".  Mat embossed with the Paper Studio Stripes folder.
• Cheese = cut at 3" from Cricut Create a Critter cartridge; <Mouse-Accessory-s> found on page 37 of folder.  Cut a second image for background without the holes (hide contour features found on the Gypsy and Cricut Craft Room).  Image embossed with Cuttlebug Spots and Dots folder.
• Black Hole = cut an oval at about 2" and trim off the bottom to create the "hole" look. 
• Google Eyes = .5 mm size.
• Sentiment "Smile!" from Cardztv "Encouraging Thoughts" stamp set.  Mat under sentiment cut freehand to size.

Operation Write Home VCMP - Hop #3

Create a Romantic card using an OWH tutorial.  I used the Dimensional Lattice Tutorial.  My card uses Cricut cartridges Imagine Better Together and Elegant Edges.  Card was designed using the Cricut Craft Room (CCR).

Card Recipe:
• Mat 1 (white background) = 5.25" x 4".  Embossed using Cuttlebug Heart Blocks folder.
• Mat 2 (white border with sentiment) = 4" x 1". 
• Love Birds = cut at 3.5" from Cricut Imagine Better Together cartridge. 
• Window (cut 2) = cut image and frame at 3.5" using Cricut Elegant Edges found on page 52 of the folder. Create lattice using white twine between the two frames. Clear film cut and used between two frames to make a "glass window". Frames are mounted with foam tape.
• Sentiment "My love" = from CardzTV "Hugs and Kisses" stamp set.
• Hearts = from Martha Stewart punch.

• Mat 2 (light green) = 4.75" x 3.75". 
• Petals (four different patterns) = made using 1" square punch.  Corners rounded at 1/4".  Paper from Authentique Seasons Summer pack. Edges inked with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.
• Accent = straight lines drawn using a blue gel pen.  Ruler used to make lines straight.
• Mat2 with Flower Petals = embossed with Cuttlebug Geometric Rings.  Embossing "smooshes" everything are really enforces the petal attachments.
• Flowers = Martha Stewart punch.  Center of flowers contains Liquid Pearls.
• Tag = cut at 2.25" using Cricut Accent Essentials; found on page 78 of the folder.  Twine bow tie is Friendship Twine purchased at Walmart in the children's craft section.  A drop of glue added to center of bow and left to dry keeps the bow from coming untied.  Tag mounted with foam tape.
• Sentiment "Miss You" = from TPC "Greeting" stamp set.
