Cards in Envy - Sketch #4

It time for another Cards in Envy Sketch Challenge!  Here is Sketch #4:

Cards in Envy Sketch #4

And here is the card I created:

A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4.25"
Flowers from Cricut Bloom Lite cartridge

Since Mother's Day is just around the corner, I thought I would use Cards in Envy Sketch #4.  My card uses designer paper from K&Company "Ancestry."  The flowers are from Cricut Bloom Lite cartridge.

Here's how I made my card:
  • Mat 1 (larger solid turquoise) = 5.25" x 4".  Bottom corners rounded at 1/2".
  • Mat 2 & 3 (blue pattern) = 2.5" x 1.75" each.  The bottom mat has one corner rounded at 1/2".  Edges of the mats are inked with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.  Paper from K&Company "Ancestry."
  • Mat 4 (larger blue pattern) = 2.5" x 3 7/8".  Bottom mat corner is rounded at 1/2".  Edges of mat are inked with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.  Paper from K&Company "Ancestry."
  • Mat 5 (smaller solid turquoise) = 3.25" x 4.25".  Bottom corners of mat rounded at 1/2".
  • Mat 6 (flowery pattern) = 3" x 4".  Bottom corners of mat rounded at 1/2".  Edges of mat inked with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.
  • Flowers = larger petals cut at 1.75" from Cricut Bloom Lite cartridge; <Flwr 10-s>.  Flower is embossed using Cuttlebug "Mash" folder.  Smaller petals cut at 1.5" from Cricut Bloom Lite cartridge; <Flwr 10-s>.  Edges of petals inked with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.  Center of flower is a flower button with Friendship Thread tied through it.  Buttons purchased at Michaels.  Friendship Thread purchased at Walmart.
  • Sentiment "Happy Mother's Day" = from Hero Arts "Celebrate Everyday" stamp set.
