Cards in Envy Challenge - Three Layers!

Welcome to Cards in Envy Challenge.  This time we are to create a card using 3 layers.  But, remember our card still must be able to fit into a regular A2 sized envelope.

Here is what I created for the challenge:

A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4"
Paper colors from Cricut Imagine Blossom

I actually CASE this card idea from a card I saw on Pinterest.  Here is how my card is made:
  • Mat 1 (blue) = 5.25" x 4".  Mat has been embossed using Indentz "Vine #1" folder.
  • Banner 1 (on left) = cut background from Cricut Creative Cards <Card 2b> at 2.875".  The banner in front is the same cut sized at 2.75".  Edges of banner are inked with Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink.  Paper colors are from Cricut Imagine Blossom cartridge.
  • Banner 2 (in middle) = cut background from Cricut Creative Cards <Card 2b> at 3.875". The banner in front is the same cut sized at 3.75". Edges of banner are inked with Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink. Paper colors are from Cricut Imagine Blossom cartridge.
  • Banner 3 (on right) = cut background from Cricut Creative Cards <Card 2b> at 3.375". The banner in front is the same cut sized at 3.25". Edges of banner are inked with Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink. Paper colors are from Cricut Imagine Blossom cartridge.
  • Bee = sticker from Disney Classic Pooh.  I pulled one of the layers off to keep the bee from being too thick.   Also, I added an eye to the bee with a black pen.  Bee is attached with foam tape.
  • Ribbon and bow = 1/8" ribbon purchased at Michael's dollar bin.   Bow is tied with assistance from Bow Easy and has been attached with hot glue.
  • Gem Stones (four in all corners) = purchased at Michael's from dollar bin.
Inside of card

 Inside of card.
  • Mat 1 (blue) = 5.25" x 4".   Faux stitching around edges created with white gel pen.
  • Mat 2 (beige) = 5" x 3.75".
