Cards in Envy Challenge Time!
The folks at Cards in Envy are hosting a sketch challenge on
the first Monday of each month, beginning February 4, 2013 .
Cards in Envy Challenge #1.
Here is the card I created using the Cards in Envy Sketch
#1:
A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4.25". |
Here's how I made my card:
- Mat 1 (yellow spotted) = 5.25" x 4". Paper colors from Cricut Imagine More cartridge.
- Mat 2 (green flower pattern) = 5.25" x .75". Paper colors from Cricut Imagine More cartridge.
- Bee = cut at 2" using "flip feature" from Cricut Create a Critter 2 cartridge. <HeartBee> found on page 31 of folder. Paper colors from Cricut Imagine More cartridge. Bee is mounted with foam tape.
- "Bee mine" = cut at 1" from Cricut Create a Critter 2 cartridge. <HeartBee> <Phrase> found on page 31 of folder. Paper colors from Cricut Imagine More cartridge.
- Hearts on lower right corner = extra hearts from Bee - cut at 2" relative size & flip feature. <HeartBee> <Layer-s> found on page 31 of folder. Paper colors from Cricut Imagine More cartridge.
- Accents = Liquid Pearls "Biscue" used to create bee trail between bee and hearts. Edges of mats and all images inked using Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.
