Oklahoma Birthday Card

Hello, Friends.  I've challenged myself to use some of my Cricut cartridges that have seldom, if ever, been used.  Here is a card made using the Cricut 50 States cartridge.

Check List:
  • Cartridge:  Cricut 50 States
  • Designer Paper:  My Mind's Eye "Cambridge Court"
  • Sentiment:  unknown stamp set made by My Pink Stamper
  • Embossing:  Cuttlebug "Distressed Stripes" folder.
  • Punch:  Martha Stewart
  • Other:  Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink

A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4.25"
Cricut 50 States cartridge
Card Recipe:
  • Mat 1 (pink) = 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
  • Mat 2 (stripes) = 5.25" x 4"
  • Mat 3 (checker border) = 1" x 4"
  • Mat 4 (under sentiment) = cut to size of sentiment
  • Sentiment = unknown stamp set from My Pink Stamper

  • Oklahoma State Image = cut at 5" image and shadow from Cricut 50 States cartridge; [OK] found on page 48 of the folder.  Shadow has been embossed using Cuttlebug "Distressed Stripes" folder.  Embossing folder was inked with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink before embossing.  Hearts on state are from Martha Stewart punch.  Image mounted with foam tape.

  • Mat 2 (beige) = 4.5" x 3.25"
  • Oklahoma State Image = cut at 2.5" from Cricut 50 States cartridge; [OK] found on page 48 of the folder.  Heart is from Martha Stewart punch.
