A Little Wave Hello

Hello, Friends.  I created this friendship card for Operation Write Home using their Sketch #200.

A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4.25"
Digi Image from Doodle Pantry
Card Recipe:
  • Mat 1 (white) = 5 3/8" x 4 1/8".  Corners rounded at 1/4".
  • Mat 2 (blue) = 5.25" x 4".  Mat embossed with Cuttlebug "Charles" folder.  Corners rounded at 1/4".
  • Mat 3 (blue border) = 2 1/8" x 5 1/8".  Corners rounded at 1/4".
  • Mat 4 (white border) = 2" x 5".  Mat embossed with Cuttlebug "Spots and Dots" folder.  Corners rounded at 1/4".
  • Mat 5 (white under octopus) = 2 5/8" x 3 5/8".  Corners rounded at 1/4".
  • Mat 6 (blue polka dots under octopus) = 2.5" x 3.5".  Side of mat mounted with foam tape (where it extends from other border).  Corners rounded at 1/4".

  • Octopus = digi image from Doodle Pantry (link above).  Image was fussy cut within Silhouette software.  Edges of water inked with Tim Holtz Faded Jeans Distress Ink.  An extra octopus was cut without the water and mounted on top to give image some depth.
  • Mat 7 (blue polka dot under sentiment) = 7/8" x 2 3/8".  Corners rounded at 1/4".
  • Mat 8 (white under sentiment) = .75" x 2.25".  Side of mat mounted with foam tape (where it extends from other border).  Corners rounded at 1/4".
  • Sentiment = digi image from Doodle Pantry (link above).  Sentiment was printed through Silhouette software to place on white mat.
