OWH VCMP - Spell OWH

The second OWH VCMP challenge is to create a card with elements that represent each letter of Operation Write Home.

Cricut cartridge:  Create a Critter
Designer Paper:  Echo Park "Dots & Stripes" 6" x 6" pack.
Sentiment:  Hero Arts "Everyday Sayings" stamp set.
  • O = orange twine and bow
  • W = water
  • H = "Hello" sentiment

A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4.25"
Cricut Create a Critter cartridge
Card Recipe:
  • Mat 1 (brown shimmer) = 5 3/8" x 4 1/8".
  • Mat 2 (brown polka dots) = 5 1/4" x 4".
  • Orange Bow & Twine = from Sew Easy floss.
  • Fish Bowl/Water/Sand/Seaweed = cut image and all layers at 4" from Cricut Create a Critter cartridge; [Fishbowl-s] found on page 43 of the folder.  White gel pen used to create faux stitching around the bowl.  Tim Holtz Peeled Paint Distress Ink used on edges of seaweed image.

  • Fish = cut image and shadow at 3/4" from Cricut Create a Critter cartridge; [Fish] found on page 43 of the folder.  I cut the image 3 times to create a chipboard effect.  Tim Holtz Peeled Paint Distress Ink used on edges of fish.
  • Sentiment "Hello" = from  Hero Arts "Everyday Sayings" stamp set.
Inside of Card
Inside of Card:
  • Mat 1 (blue) = 5" x 3 3/4".
  • Mat 2 (beige) = 4 3/4" x 3 1/2".
  • Seaweed = cut at 3/4" (real dial size) from Cricut Create a Critter cartridge; [Fishbowl-s][Layer 3] found on page 43 of the folder.
