Enjoy the Simple Pleasures

I found a new (to me) challenge called Flutter By Wednesday.  The requirement on this site is to create cards that include a butterfly or fairy.  This week's challenge includes a sketch that I really like.  Bet I use this one more than once.

I also made the card into a Friendship Card which can be used in the Operation Write Home Midweek Throw down challenge.

Designer Paper:  My Mind's Eye "Reunion" 6" x 6" pack.
Sketch:  Flutter by Wednesday
Sentiment:  My Favorite Things "Flopsey Goes Camping."
Embossing:  Cuttlebug "Birds and Swirls" folder.

A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4.25"
Card Recipe:
  • Mat 1 (black) = 5 3/8" x 4 1/8".
  • Mat 2 (blue / white dots) = 5" x 3 3/4".
  • Mat 3 (black border) = 2 1/4" x 4".
  • Mat 4 (red pattern border) = 2" x 3 3/4".
  • Mat 5 (black vertical banner) = 2 1/4" x 4 1/4".
  • Mat 6 (pattern vertical banner) = 2" x 4".
  • Mat 7 (black behind sentiment) = 2" x 3".
  • Mat 8 (beige with sentiment) = 1 3/4" x 2 3/4".  Mat embossed with Cuttlebug "Birds and Swirls" after stamping sentiment.

  • Sentiment "Enjoy the Simple Pleasures" = from My Favorite Things "Flopsey Goes Camping" stamp set.
  • Butterflies = from Martha Stewart Punch.  Center of butterflies accented with Liquid Pearls.

Inside of Card:
  • Mat 1 (black) = 5 1/8" x 3 7/8".
  • Mat 2 (pattern) = 5" x 3 3/4".
  • Mat 3 (beige) = 4 3/4" x 3 1/2".
  • Butterflies = from Martha Stewart punch.
