Pinwheel Card I

A2 sized card.

Mat 1 (white) = 5.25" x 4"
Mat 2 (red) = 3" x 3"

To create pinwheel:

Cut a 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" square card (mine is white but doesn't show).   In the center cut and attach a 3/4" x 3/4" square (mine is red).  Using two different patterns or solid colors, cut several 1/4" strips.   Begin by attaching one of the patterns around the center square (I glued to allow some "wiggle").  Now alternate papers to fill in.   Cut overlapping strips off when done.   Full tutorial with pictures can be found here

Pinwheel and white mat were each embossed with Cuttlebug Daisy embossing folder.   Pinwheel is attached to red mat and then mounted on card with foam tape.

Mat 3 (black & white polka dots) = 1" x 4".   Scallop was created by using EK Success Scallop punch.

Accents = Viva Decor Pen (red and cream) used to accent daisy embossed images.
