Thank You Card

Another flower power thank you card.

A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4.25".
Paper colors from Cricut Imagine "Imagine More" cartridge.
Card Recipe:
  • Mat 1 (turquoise) = 5.25" x 4".  Edges inked with Tim Holtz Faded Jeans Distress Ink.
  • Flower Petals - Color 1 (beige pattern) = two at 1.25" x 1.25", one at 1" x 1", one at 1.25" x 2.25".
  • Flower Petals - Color 2 (diamond pattern) = two at 1.25" x 1.25", one at 1" x 1".
  • Flower Petals - Color 3 (polka dots) = two at 1" x 1", one at 1.25" x 1.25".
  • Round corners at 1/2" and ink edges with Tim Holtz Faded Jeans Distress Ink. Attach all petals with ATG except the 1.25" x 2.25" petal. Trim off petals that hang off edge of mat. Emboss mat with attached petals with Indentz Vine folder.
    • Petal sizes (left to right) = Diamond pattern and beige pattern = 1.25" x 1.25".  Polka dot and beige pattern = 1" x 1". Polka dot and diamond pattern = 1" x 1". Beige pattern with sentiment = 1.25" x 2.25". Last three Diamond pattern, beige pattern and polka dot are all 1.25" x 1.25'.
  • Stamp sentiment "Thanks" on 1.25" x 2.25" petal. Attach with foam tape.  Add Liquid Pearls to accent the sentiment.  Sentiment from TPC Studio Greetings stamp set.
  • Punch flowers from Martha Stewart punch and attach to centers of petals. Add Liquid Pearls to centers of punched flowers.

Inside of card:
  • Mat 1 (polka dot) = 5" x 3.75".
  • Mat 2 (beige) = 4.5" x 3.25".
  • Flowers = from Martha Stewart punch. Centers have Liquid Pearls.

MCCR - Old West Theme


It's Thursday!  Today's theme on My Cricut Craft Room is the Old West.  Below is the card I made using images from the Old West cartridge.

  • Mat 1 (brown) = 5 3/8" x 4 1/8".  Paper from DCWV the Rustic stack.  Edges inked with Tim Holtz Antique Linen.
  • Mat 2 (light greenish pattern) = 5.25" x 4".  Paper from DCWV the Rustic stack. Edges inked with Tim Holtz Antique Linen.
  • Mat 3 (dark green border) = 5 3/8" x 2".  Edges inked with Tim Holtz Antique Linen.
  • Mat 4 (brown border) = 5 3/8" x 1.75".  Paper from DCWV the Rustic stack.  Edges inked with Tim Holtz Antique Linen.

Wagon found on page 69 of folder
  • Covered Wagon = cut at 2.5" from Cricut Old West cartridge; found on page 69 of the folder.  Paper from DCWV the Rustic stack. Edges inked with Tim Holtz Antique Linen.  Wagon was mounted to card using foam tape.
Sign Post found on page 67 of folder.
  • Sign with Post = cut at 2" from Cricut Old West cartridge; found on page 67 of folder.  Sign was mounted to card using foam tape.
  • Sentiment "Just a Note. . . " = from Hero Arts "Everyday Sayings" stamp set.
  • Brads added to center of wagon wheels and under the sentiment are from Imaginisce.
