Hooray It's Your Birthday

Hello, Friends.  It's the last day of September and I can't believe how fast this year has flown by!  I have multiple family and friends who have birthdays coming up in October, November, December and January.  It birthday season at my house.  Here is a masculine birthday card I made for a friend.

• Mat 1 (tan) = 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
• Mat 2 (checkered) = 5 1/4" x 4"
• Mat 3 (green pattern border) = 2 1/2" x 5"
• Mat 4 (tan) = 2 7/8" x 4 1/8"
• Mat 5 (white) = 2 3/4" x 4"
• Sentiment "Hooray . .  It's your Birthday!" = from Scrappy Mom's "Hooray for Birthdays" stamp set.

 

• Birthday Cake = cut three at 3 1/4" from Yummy Cartridge (two are glued together).  Top two attached with foam tape.  Strawberries are accented with glitter glue.

Monkey Birthday Card

"S" fold card.

Card base is created normally, 5.5" x 4.25". Fold top back over on top of itself to create the "S".

Paper color from Cricut Imagine "Yummy" cartridge.

Mat 1 (gift pattern) = 5.25" x 4"
Mat 2 (brown pattern) = 5.25" x 1 7/8" - cut two
Mat 3 (beige behind monkey and inside of card) = 2.5" x 2.5" - cut two
Mat 4 (gift pattern behind monkey) = 2.25" x 2.25"

Monkey = cut at 2.25" from Cricut Create a Critter 2 cartridge, <PrtyMnky>, page 75 of folder.  Top of birthday hat accented with Stickles.

Monkey is attached with foam tape.

Mat 1(blue pattern) = 5.25" x 4".  Paper colors from Yummy Imagine cartridge.
Mat 2 (lime green) = 5.25" x 1".  Paper colors from Yummy Imagine cartridge.

Mat 3 (brown) = cut at 3.8" from Elegant Edges, Oblong-s <Scallop1>, page 23 of folder.

Ice Cream Sundae image = cut at 2.5" from Yummy Imagine cartridge.

Accents = edges of mats inked with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress ink.  Images mount with foam tape.   White brads from Imaginisce.

A2 sized card.

Background mat = 5.25" x 4"; created using scrap paper cut in 1/4" strips and taped on the mat.  Mat was then embossed using Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" folder.

Mat 4 (pink strip) = 2.5" x .25"
