My Dog Spot

Hello, Friends!  Here's a birthday card featuring "Spot" from the Cricut Paper Pups cartridge.

• Cricut Cartridge:  Paper Pups
• Designer Paper:  My Mind's Eye "Cambridge Court" 6"x6" pack
• Embossing:  Cuttlebug "Spots and Dots" folder
• Sentiment:  TPC Studio "Greetings"

A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4.25"

Card Recipe:

• Mat 1 (black) = 5.25" x 4"
• Mat 2 (beige) = 4.75" x 3.5"
• Mat 3 (polka dots) = 4.5" x 3.25"
• Mat 4 (striped border) = 1.75" x 4".
• All mats were embossed together using Cuttlebug "Spots and Dots" folder.
• Sentiment = from TPC Studio "Greetings" stamp set

 

• Dog = cut at 1.75" from Cricut Paper Pups cartridge; [spot] found on page 94 of the folder.  Image is mounted with foam tape.  The first layer was cut twice, once in black and once in the brown polka dots.  I used the negative parts of the brown polka dots to add to the image.

• Mat 3 (beige) = 4.5" x 3.25"

• Sentiment:  Scrappy Moms "Hooray for Birthdays" stamp set

• Mat 1 (maroon) = 5 7/8" x 4 1/8"
• Mat 2 (pattern) = 5.25" x 4"
• Mat 3 (beige) = 5" x 3.75".  Mat embossed with Cuttlebug "Houndstooth" folder.
• Mat 4 (striped border) = 1" x 5". 

• Scotty Dog = cut at 3" from Cricut Paper Pups cartridge; [scotty] found on page 85 of the folder.  Image mounted on foam tape.
• Sentiment = from Scrappy Moms "Hooray for Birthdays" stamp set.

• Dog's Hat = cut at 3" from Cricut Paper Pups cartridge; [scotty-s][solid] found on page 85 of the folder.  White gel pen used for faux stitching.
