Christmas Wishes

I found a new-to-me challenge called 52 Card Christmas Throwdown.  The challenge this week is to create a Christmas card that includes holly.

Designer Paper:  Recollections "Sugar Plums" 12" x 12".
Cricut Cartridges:  Pretty Pennants and Joys of the Season
Sentiment:  Scrappy Mom's "Winter Wishes" stamp set.

Card Recipe:

• Mat 1 (green) = 5 3/8" x 4 1/8".
• Mat 2 (tan pattern) = 5 1/4" x 4".
• Mat 3 (green border) = 1 3/4" x 4".
• Mat 4 (red pattern border) = 1 1/2" x 3 3/4".

• Pennant = cut at 3 3/4" from Cricut Pretty Pennants cartridge; [Banner2] and [BnrFrme2].
• Holly = cut at 1" from Cricut Joys of the Season cartridge; [Holly-s] found on page 69 of the folder.
• Sentiment "May all your Christmas Wishers come true!" = from Scrappy Mom's "Winter Wishes" stamp set.

Inside of Card:

• Mat 1 (red pattern) = 3 3/4" x 5".
• Mat 2 (tan pattern) = 3 5/8" x 4 7/8".
• Mat 3 (beige) = 3 3/8" x 4 1/2".
• Zig Zag = from EK Success punch.  Stickles added as accent.
• Red Bulb = 1" circle punch of designer paper.  Stickles added as accent.

Here's how I created this card:

• Mat 1 (seahorse pattern paper) = 5.25" x 4".  Paper from The Paper Studio "A Day at the Beach."  Corners rounded 1/2". 
• Mat 2 (coral border) = 4" x 1".  Mat embossed with Cuttlebug border folder (don't know name of folder.)  Half pearls added in center of embossed flowers are from Michaels.
• Sunglasses = cut at 1.5" from Cricut Paisley cartridge; <Sunglass> on page 56 of folder.  Green glasses embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder.  Yellow glasses embossed with Cuttlebug Script Texture folder.  Coral glasses embossed with The Paper Studio Tiny Stars folder.  Sunglasses are mounted with foam tape and have stickles added to accent center.
• Tag = cut at 2.25" from Cricut Joys of the Season cartridge; <Tag> on page 80 of the folder.  Edges of mat inked with Tim Holtz Peeled Paint Distress Ink.
• Sentiment "You are my Sunshine" = from Scrappy Mom's Amusing Animals stamp set.
• Ribbon from Michaels.

• Mat 1 (beige) = 5" x 3.75".  Bottom corners of mat rounded at 1/2".  Edges of mat inked with Tim Holtz Peeled Paint Distress Ink.
• Mat 2 (green border) = 3.75" x 1".  Mat embossed with Cuttlebug border folder (name of folder unknown).

A2 sized card.

Mat 1 (beige) = 5.25" x 4"; embossed with Cuttlebug "Heritage" folder.

Mat 3 (beige) = 4.5" x 3.25"; embossed with Cuttlebug "Joy and Cheer" folder.

Gift image = cut at 2.25" from Cricut Joys of the Season cartridge; <Gift1> on page 56 of folder.  White gel pen stitching added.  Image has been mounted using foam tape.

Ribbon on image has stickles added first, then overlayed with Glossy Accents.

Ribbon on card = Christmas ribbon found at Michaels.

Stamp = from Stampabilities Barrel of Stamps "Christmas".  Stamp colored using glitter gel pens.
