Cards in Envy Challenge - Now That's Scary

Welcome to another Cards in Envy Challenge!  For this challenge we are to create an A2 sized card (5.5" x 4.25") featuring things that "scare you" such as witches, spiders, bats, ghosts and goblins. Only requirement is that the card is 1/4" or less in thickness in order to fit in an envelope.

I created a Graveyard Scene with Creepy Trees and a little ghost.
  • Designer Paper = K and Company "Halloween and Fall" 12" x 12" pad.
  • Cricut cartridge = Mini Monsters
  • Sentiment = Handwritten "RIP"
  • Punches = Maury (Moon) 2" circle punch
  • Other:  Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.  Foam Tape.
A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4.25"
Cricut Mini Monsters
Card Recipe:
  • Mat 1 (purple spider web pattern) = 5 1/4" x 4".
  • Moon = from Maury 2" circle punch.  Edges inked with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.
  • Trees = cut at 3 1/4" from Cricut Mini Monsters cartridge; [Tree1] and [Tree2] found on page 73 of the folder.  Trim where trees extend from Mat 1.
  • Fence = cut two at 1 1/2" from Cricut Mini Monsters cartridge; [Fence1] found on page 72 of the folder.  Trim where fence extends from Mat 1.

  • Grave Stone = cut at 1 3/4" from Cricut Mini Monsters cartridge; [Grave2-s][Base Shadow] found on page 71 of the folder.  White gel pen used to write "RIP" and for faux stitching.  Image is mounted with foam tape.
  • Ghost = cut three at 3/4" from Cricut Mini Monsters cartridge; [Spooky][Base Shadow] found on page 42 of the folder.  All three images are mounted together to make a chip board effect.  Edges inked with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.
