Patriot's Day Challenge

Card made for May Arts Patriot's Day Challenge

The challenge:
Make a thank you card for a first responder, a service member, or someone in your community who serves faithfully!

My card:


A2 sized card. 

Mat sizes listed above in sketch.

Flags = cut at 1.8" from Cricut Imagine Enjoy the Seasons cartridge; page 8 of folder.

Stars = cut at 1" from basic shapes found on Imagine; paper colors from Enjoy the Seasons cartridge.

Embossing folder = Cuttlebug "Script Texture" folder.   Embossed script has been lightly inked using Tim Holtz "faded jeans." 

Sentiment = "Thank you for your service" from My Pink Stamper stamp set.  Silver brads on sentiment mat are from Imaginisce.  Bottom corners of sentiment mat rounded at 1/4 inch.

Ribbons = 1/8" ribbons from Michaels.

Accents = Stickles used on stars of flags and blue star.  Glossy Accents used on yellow star.   All mats have edges inked with Tim Holtz "faded jeans." 

Inside of card.

Mat 1 (red pattern) = 5" x 3.75"
Mat 2 (white) = 4.75" x 3.5"

Stars = cut at 1" from basic images found on Cricut Imagine.   Star colors are from Enjoy the Seasons Cricut Imagine cartridge.
