Purple & Green

Hello, Friends!


The newest challenge at Cards in Envy is called Purple and Green.  You can make any card you like as long as it features the purple and green colors.

Here's mine:

A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4.25"

I used a 2013 sketch #4 from Cards in Envy (our challenges back then included sketches).  The sentiment "You Rock" is from the Silhouette Store.  Piglet is from Etsy.  The background paper is all digital paper.

Frame It!

Hello, Friends!


The newest challenge at Cards in Envy is called Frame It.  You can make any card you like as long as it has a frame.

Here's mine:

A2 card = 5.5" x 4.25"

Instead of using a square, oval or circle for a frame, I decided to use a life preserver.  The vintage ship was found via a Google search.  The life preserver and anchor are both Silhouette images.  The twine (rope) was purchased at Walmart.  You can find packages of Friendship Twine there in the children's craft area.

Little Peanut

Hello, Friends!

I'm working on baby items this morning!  There have been so many babies born this year - almost all of them girls.  My mother use to tell me years ago that when you see lots of girl babies, it was a sign of peace coming.  I know it's a wives tale, but one can hope.

I began by making this adorable elephant.

This cuddly stuffed elephant is 12 inches tall.  The baby stats were added with a sublimation process.  And I added a pink bow around the neck.

Here's the card that was added to my gift:

The digital paper background was purchased from Etsy shop WhiteAnemones,  The elephant was purchased from the Silhouette store.  The font is computer generated to fit my card.
