Tag You're It

The challenge at Cards in Envy is to create an A2 sized card with a tag somewhere on it.  The card I made includes a dog tag and was done with Operation Write Home in mind.

  • Cricut Cartridge:  Base Camp
  • Designer Paper:  Authentique "Hope" 6"x6" pack
  • Sentiments:  Hero Arts "Epic Love" and TPC Studio "Greetings" stamp sets.
  • Other:  Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink

A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4.25"
Cricut Base Camp
Card Recipe:
  • Mat 1 (black) = 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
  • Mat 2 (pattern) = 5 1/4" x 4"
  • Postcard = cut at 3" from Cricut Base Camp cartridge; [postcard] found on page 121of the folder.  Edges inked with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.
  • Sentiments = from Hero Arts "Epic Love" stamp set.

  3. This is one of my favorite OWH fundraiser stamp sets. I love how you made a dog tag for your card. And it is very gender neutral; perfect for Operation Write Home. Wonderful job!

  6. Terrific use of the dog tag - and the silver cording does a great job of replicating the chains that real tags would hang from. I really like the post card look, too! And you get extra kudos for decorating the inside of the card! :) Super job, Marilyn! Like the others have said - it's a perfect card for OWH.
